Sasha, the doggie-actress who plays the hero in the commercial, was rescued by her owner/trainer from a local animal shelter. Taught to act, she now makes a living as a performer. Sasha donates part of her earnings to help rescue other dogs and cats so that they too can have a better life and a brighter future.
Good Doggie’s Director and co-writer, De Veau Dunn, began his career as a recurring character on the Ben Stiller Show. Having also appeared in numerous TV commercials, of particular note are the classic Sunny Delight commercials. These viral video favorites can be seen on De Veau Dunn’s youtube channel.
The commercial’s Producer and co-writer, Nicholas George, has worked on a wide variety of other projects with De Veau in the director’s chair. Many of which have gone on to win top awards on both the local and national independent film festival circuits. Nicholas has also recently authored the popular film school text “Film Crew: Fundamentals of Professional Film and Video Production” currently available on Amazon.com.
